Wow...has it really been two months since I posted an article. I could muse upon perceptions of time but that is a whole other post!!

My last post was actually a channeled poem that I created to become part of a video project.

An amazing photographer called Rupert Davis in London wrote to me about wanting to create a short film piece using his photos as the images. He asked me to provide the words.
It was simple agreement...before Rupert even set his intentions I knew it would embrace the new energy with themes of creativity and joy.

Rupert also knew a very talented videographer, Vicki Gratz in Colorado. Vicki was connected to us through our involvement with the Crimson Circle, a spiritual family that we have been a part of since 2000.

There was one last person to find, a musician to create a soundtrack and this was the one and only part of the project that took some detours to finding them. Several lined up but decided not to play.Through one of these we found Yanna Volfinzon in Holland. Yanna looked at the images and then placed my poem on the music stand of her piano and just played as she read the words. When I now hear her piece it is impossible to imagine anyone else or any other piece of music being a part of this.

Vicki then had the amazing task of pulling it all together. That old saying that the "sum of the parts is greater than just the simple addition of their values" (or whatever it is along those lines) is something I now really get.

The final creation has now been seen by thousands of people as it was graciously shown on the Crimson Circle monthly webcast which has an estimated audience of 20,000 people across the world. We have had emails saying that people have cried as they watched it and someone even asked if they could show it at their aunt's funeral.

It never amazes me that something that anyone creates can connect with anothers emotions. It has been an aspect of artistic creativity that has grabbed at my curiosity since I was a child. This creation has helped me answer that.

When we create from that pure feeling space, without limits or doubts, it can be felt beyond the words or the brushstrokes. We can look upon a painting and see so much more than the images and we can read more than the story. We are being offered a window into that part of each of us that can communicate through the mind. It is that magic part of us that we get taught to bury in order to fit it in.

This is why artists and performers can draw our adulation and reverence. They are the ones who have dared to show and explore the very parts of ourselves we fear. One of my favorite quotes is from Van Gogh. He said "If you wish to paint but a voice inside you says 'don't', then paint anyway and that voice will be silenced." I really believe that steppign thorugh the fear is as simple as just starting to do what you passion calls you to.

It is also about beginning with no expectations.....but that is a whole other post again.

Please enjoy our video...and please pass the link onto anyone you feel will enjoy it.
I suggest you sit and take a few deep breaths before you begin to really drink it in.....

Every Second Is A new Beginning

March 3rd 2008 08:50
Every second is a new beginning,
Every heartbeat, a new rush of life,

In every moment all can change,
As quickly as you blink an eye.

A wave rushes to the shore,
It churns and pounds, then is gone.

A sunset slides into the horizon,
Its colors blend and twist, then fade.

The dance of life begins and ends,
With so much in-between the first breath and the last.

Each breath in turn its own dance of life.

One breath in, a new sunrise,
One breath out, a sunset.

In-between is life.

The pull inside of renewal,
The outward release of the old.

Each second a new opportunity,
To be reborn with endless possibilities.

The only limits are the ones you create,
So……..

What do you choose to create?……..

…….this day……………………………

…………………….this breath………..

Your choices tumble like gems in a kaleidoscope,
Falling into one another, changing and evolving,

Every turn of your life, a new pattern,
None more beautiful than the other, just simply unique,

Never falling into the same place the same way again,
As long as you keep playing,

As long as you keep turning,
Watching with wonder at the patterns you make,

This is the joy of the creator,

To play with no expectations,
To play with wonder,

To play, simply to see,
How all will interconnect,

And blend in one moment….

Then to let it go…..

To turn again and let the colors tumble,
Into an amazing new scene.

Are you ready to play?

How long have your colours lay still,
Waiting for you to shake them up,

To let them dance,
To let them see new light,

To create new scenes,
To shine as bright as they can.

Each breath is a new beginning,
For your colours to shine,

For your choices to come to you,
For the joy of creating.

Every breath is a new beginning.

The breath is in every moment and yet we forget it's simple sensation. We are so distracted by things external that we even forget the sensation of our clothes against our body.

The breath calls us back to the moment. The breath calls us back to the simplicity of sensations that we truly are.

We are so accomplished in complicating and layering. We bury the purity that we are beneath unnecessary noises, beliefs, routines and activity.

When we stop, slow things down and breathe deep we aren't just feeling the simplicity of existence. In reconnecting with your sense of the breath you remember the miracle of life. You remember the miracle of the choice you made to be here. You re-awaken memories so deep that your simple mind cannot begin to explain them.

When you reach inside you step into the essence of creation. Here lies the key to your wholeness, your creatorship, your Godself....because here lies your connection to all that is.

Forget karma and contracts these are just the games that you used to play to fill your time as a human. Experience is now so much more than what role you will play, what job you will have, how much money you will make and what will be carved on your tombstone.

When you return 'home' you will delight the angels with stories of how you remembered that you are God also.

The Ease of Abandonment.

February 15th 2008 13:26
Its not often that a walk through the supermarket can give you a real deep belly laugh. Just a few days ago though that is exactly the gift I gave myself.

I was wandering down the confectionery aisle when something caught my eye in amongst the myriad of flat slabs of chocolate. It was a small bright pink box sitting at an awkward angle on the shelf, its size and shape making it stick out as much as the color. Itb was the contents that made its presence funny though because this box contained a herbal weight loss supplement

I Don't Remember Choosing That!

February 13th 2008 08:20
I have spoken before about the ease in which we can slip into being a victim or a martyr. These roles help give us excuses and patterns to stop us expressing ourselves and stepping into our joy and passion. We can stay within the limits and rules that we believe society requires of us.

The opposite of being a martyr or victim is to be a creator. When you are a creator you are aware that everything that happens in your life is your creation. You take responsibility for yourself and what happens to you. Stuff just doesn't happen to you because it was meant to be or it was your destiny. Stuff happens to you because that is how you choose to experience your time in your body on the planet

Visting Kuan Yin at Nan Tien

February 3rd 2008 05:18
On a recent weekend I was invited to visit with my Aunt at her holiday house at Fairy Meadow, a suburb of North Wollongong. Apart from lots of lovely walks along the beach I also got to do one of my favorite things when visiting this area; a trip to Nan Tien Temple at Berkeley.

This Buddhist temple was opened in 1995 and is the largest Buddhist temple in the southern hemisphere. It's name means "Paradise of the south" and the minute you pass beneath the main gate you can see why. Not only is the architecture and statuary beautiful, it is set amongst beautiful gardens which flow with the valley and then the mountains nearby

Whats your poison? Whats the payoff?

February 2nd 2008 11:54
I was talking recently with a cousin who asked how another relative was after having gastric band surgery to deal with his obesity. The rather sad news was that it simply hadn't been as successful as he hoped or that I imagine the doctors would have liked. It has been no fault of the surgeon or the procedure. This person loves their food and the habits that led to them seeking this surgery are simply still there playing thier part in his life.

The cousin who sat before me had just given up smoking. I know it is not the first time but she feels confident it will be her last. She knows her triggers and she knows her weaknesses. Most of all though she truly wants to give up

Learning about Myself while travelling

October 14th 2007 05:39
I hate travel snobs. You know those people you meet while traveling who have seen better and experienced better and are more than happy to share how much better they are at doing it. They even know how to pack their bags better! Even worse are the ones you meet while you aren’t traveling.

I love traveling. I love seeing new places, hearing new sounds, smelling new smells (not always so pleasant) and tasting new food. I know that I create every moment and every glimpse of magic has been due to surrendering to the moment

New Energy Artistry

July 6th 2007 12:40

It is a year ago this month that I accepted an invitation from Kuthumi Lal Singh, one of the ascended masters,to expand and explore my passion for writing and the arts. At first I believed it was a simple invitation to write a book but through this I have also learnt so much about creativity in all aspects of life.
