Every Second Is A new Beginning

Every second is a new beginning,
Every heartbeat, a new rush of life,
In every moment all can change,
As quickly as you blink an eye.
A wave rushes to the shore,
It churns and pounds, then is gone.
A sunset slides into the horizon,
Its colors blend and twist, then fade.
The dance of life begins and ends,
With so much in-between the first breath and the last.
Each breath in turn its own dance of life.
One breath in, a new sunrise,
One breath out, a sunset.
In-between is life.
The pull inside of renewal,
The outward release of the old.
Each second a new opportunity,
To be reborn with endless possibilities.
The only limits are the ones you create,
So ..
What do you choose to create? ..
.this day
.this breath ..
Your choices tumble like gems in a kaleidoscope,
Falling into one another, changing and evolving,
Every turn of your life, a new pattern,
None more beautiful than the other, just simply unique,
Never falling into the same place the same way again,
As long as you keep playing,
As long as you keep turning,
Watching with wonder at the patterns you make,
This is the joy of the creator,
To play with no expectations,
To play with wonder,
To play, simply to see,
How all will interconnect,
And blend in one moment .
Then to let it go ..
To turn again and let the colors tumble,
Into an amazing new scene.
Are you ready to play?
How long have your colours lay still,
Waiting for you to shake them up,
To let them dance,
To let them see new light,
To create new scenes,
To shine as bright as they can.

So true and so lovely to see you again. I enjoyed your poem, especially these lines ... there is so much in each moment isn' there, endless possibilities of a future, not the one we project, full of emotional baggage from the past... but the one we create each moment we are ALIVE!

New Spirit New Energy
I wrote this sitting on the beach on Saturday. The sea was so rough but so beautiful. I watched all the waves dissappear and then new ones come in to replace them, no two alike, each one magnificent.
